Venus in Gemini: The Twinkle
Those of you who follow this series already know that we’re looking at beautiful or extraordinary people to try and get an idea of how Venus, the goddess of beauty, works in each sign.
Light, breezy, youthful, friendly, clever, funny — those are Gemini adjectives.
Maybe the most famous Venus in Gemini in the world is a just as famous for being a sister — appropriate for the sign of the twins. Tennis is, of course, a Gemini sport: it takes two.
The twoness of Gemini might explain something else: why so many top models? Photographic modelling is not just about looking gorgeous — it’s about the relationship between you and the camera, or you and the photographer. It takes two to make a great picture. All these women have also had fantastic business careers too. The only other Venus sign with as many magazine covers is Venus in Aquarius — another “social” air sign.

One of the best French actresses on film and stage…
And a national treasure…
Not all Venus in Geminis have those long, sly, sexy, witty eyes — but an awful lot of them do. And many have light eyes…
That easy grace seems to work very well even for such super-masculine types as these actors. Here some strong jaw-lines. But these men are all also outstanding character actors too. It seems to me also that Venus in Gemini might often have a thing for dressing up as someone else which helps when you have to prance around in fur and leather.
There is most definitely a twinkle in these Venus in Geminis, softened or sharpened by the Sun or Rising sign.
Did we mention comic timing? Let’s have another
I’ve found a lot of public poets and eloquent speakers with this placement too, but here is a current favourite.
