Good little video Christian. You really nailed the meaning of that 1982 conjunction which never seemed to have a notable world event attached to it. But as you say Brezhnev died the week of it.
Likely it is the end of USA’s pre-eminence. Tough times are ahead with a Pluto return and in 2026, Neptune moves into Aries which do not go well last time it occurred in April 1861. Maybe Saturn moving in at the same time in 2026 will avoid a similar situation.
China is rising and another of those powers created in the years following the 1947 conjunction. Hard not to see them becoming the dominant power during the next cycle.
@44 Thanks. I’ve got a few more things to say about 1982 — particularly in regards to China!
Brezhnev’s death brought Boris Yeltsin to power, I believe, and Boris brought us Vladimir. Now, 36 years on, Vladimir is a central figure in the drama.
@Sandi Yes, I did glance at what was happening in Putin’s life in 1982. I think he was still at KGB school, getting ready to hatch.
Did you say the Saturn Pluto opposition of this cycle occurred at the time of the twin towers attack? Not sure if heard that right. Thanks.
@Jan — Saturn and Pluto were in opposition at the time of the attack on the twin towers. It was not exact but just a few degrees out.
