A really fascinating talk. I listened to it over the weekend, and your flowing discussion of past and future put me in touch with my own mortality. Not in a sad way, more like “the story goes on and on and none of us will be there for the distant chapters.” A great October theme.

I’m glad it made you feel that, Jeanne, because that’s kind of a wonderful feeling — being part of the great story of us.

Thanks for this! Much food for thought. I really appreciate your take on Eris – nice to have a bit more dimension added to the discussion. Imagine folks dressed in the European fashions of the early 1900s experiencing Stravinsky and Picasso – what a contrast! I can see Eris sticking in her little finger and stirring the pot a bit… Perhaps the early modernists paved the way intellectually and emotionally for the huge social, political, and cultural shifts that followed WWI.

It took us many decades to even begin to understand Pluto in a holistic way, and the same may well prove true for Eris. This past year I’ve been wondering about the effects of the Saturn/Uranus square added to the Pluto/Eris square. Quite a combination.

    • Christina says:

Yes. I think astrologers are inclined to jump to conclusions without looking at history and context. It’s the rush to be first I suppose.
I think Chiron is only somewhat understood also — and as for the asteroids…!

I could not hear this talk on my iPhone. Would you be able to email it to me. I may have more success with that. The title is where the he’ll are we.

    Many thanks .
