The Prime Minister is the Hand of Pluto

Wednesday September 28th 2022

Just a quick note to show you the incredible way that astrology is playing out in the chart of UK Prime Minister Liz Truss, who has managed to tank the pound, destroy the gilt market, cut taxes for the uber-rich and sink the UK into impossible debt — all in just three weeks. You have to admit, it’s quite a list of achievements. Has she had some cosmic help?

However, the hand of Pluto is at work in a big way. Note that Pluto — corruption, big money, criminality, transformation —  is currently stationing at 26° Capricorn — government, corporations, big banks — about to turn direct on 9 October — when he will march straight out of Capricorn and into Aquarius in March. Without turning back. In other words, he’s in his end-game in Capricorn.

That means he is triggering her T-square precisely. That’s Pluto in Capricorn opposite her Mercury, which is flanked by Saturn (ambition) and the Sun (ego). He’ll continue opposing all that stuff for quite a while as her Sun is at 2°Leo.

Meanwhile, by transit, the Sun at 5° Libra is actually lighting up Truss’ own natal Pluto at 6°. So we’re all getting a good look at her dark side. In fact, the Sun is opposing transiting Jupiter right now — and together those two are highlighting her Vesta-Pluto opposition. Those of you who came to may talk at the West of Scotland Astrological Association last night will know that Vesta (among many other things) is about investment, and in the case of Ms Truss, perhaps, really bad fiscal management.

Right back to the horoscopes!

Oh and the eclipse on 8 November is on her natal Mars and trUranus. Oi….

  2. Julia says:

Tomorrow should be interesting with sun revealing her Pluto! Overblown ambitions of Jupiter in the first h. Pluto opposite mercury powerful opposition, from those in power, diplomacy out of the window.

  3. Joyce says:

Wondering about the Chancellor… It felt like she trusted him with it….and hadn’t fully understood what she was getting into…there was a look almost of shock …as if something had been hidden

  4. Vesta says:

Transiting Pluto will still be in the UK’s 4th house till it reaches 15 Aquarius. Similar in my chart. What does that suggest we can look to?
Yes, I’m looking ahead. I can’t bear to look at where we are. I’m holding on to your words of endgame! My heart is in my mouth and I’m having horrible nightmares, although today’s ended well so deep down, I know there’s hope, I’m just wondering that that might be.

  5. Tim Payne says:

    Superb analysis – thank you

  6. Lisa says:

Wow, super interesting! Thank you 🙏 I for one can’t wait for Pluto to move on and leave my natal Cappy stellium alone

  7. Denise says:

Spot on analysis! She does a series of radio interviews on the day the Sun conjuncts her natal Pluto, and I read headlines like “We now know who the real Liz Truss is, thanks to local radio.” Wow. Hard Pluto transits plus her Mars heavily involved in that Uranus/Saturn square. This woman could really benefit from some astrological advice.

THis is really interesting but I can hardly read the chart and I can’t enlarge it – ???

    • Christina says:

I will look into this! I am so sorry. There seems to be a bit of an issue between my astrology software and WordPress…

  9. Caroline says:

I see you are using the conventional noon chart for unknown birthtimes …. I always prefer the sunrise chart myself . I feel it holds the essence of the day better than noon which is not IMO so good at that , and leaves the sun unhappily potentially misleadingly near the MC.
    – Have you any views on this alternative option ? Pearls to cast before us ?

Do you think kwarteng deliberately FFFed the markets and presumably perhaps for personal financial gain ? She has blamed the idea for the controversial tax cut for the rich on him , and a last minute decision by her.

    • Christina says:

I also prefer sunrise as a rule.. This is just what astrodienst pops up.

As for Kwartang, I don’t think he though the markets would do that. But I do think he cut taxes for his mates.
