It’s not considered wise to travel on a Mercury Retrograde. But, as you may know, I’ve been in Egypt and I had to get home for 31 December. We did encounter some classic Mercury Rx stuff. I put my trousers on inside out  — it was a 3am start — and spent the whole journey with my seams showing, and we were mysteriously upgraded for both legs of the journey. I felt that maybe the inside-out trousers alleviated any worse Mercury Retrograde effects.

Anyway, it’s that kind of start to 2023 — inside-out, backwards and possibly with an unexpected upgrade.
