Lilith in Scorpio: The Apple and the Snake
Lilith, the Black Moon, arrived in Scorpio on 27 March, and she will stay there until December. This video is an overview of what that means in the natal chart and of the meaning of that transit.
Interestingly, and in a very Lilith in Scorpio way, YouTube has objected to the cover for this video which included a beautiful mosaic of the temptation. I think they are still looking into it. But there is the Lilith story of banishment.
I did note briefly in the video the previous dates of Lilith in Scorpio and their connection to our collective wealth.
These are the dates for the last century. It’s interesting that Lilith in Scorpio seems to happen just before a debt crisis rather than during.

Tariffs. Not Tariffs…
I looked up Andy Borowitz, the American humorist who’s been skewering power for decades.

bingo!
To me, Lilith in Scorpio takes on a duality that represents either the overt embrace (and even weaponization) of raw sexuality or complete disgust and impenetrable defense against it. Its like a tawdry dominatrix and a stoic monk living in the same house.
In today’s jargon, that could take the form of an Onlyfans siren on one hand, and the former incel who becomes zealous nofapper on the other.
In a weird way, when people shift into a mode of hypersexuality or abject celibacy, it’s often couched as a way of reclaiming personal power, and often times, a failure to address what’s driving that lack in the first place. The real remedy, comes in the form of a painful (at first) acceptance of moderation.
I see a lot of young people increasingly falling into both camps, and I believe a painful yet ultimately necessary reconciliation is in order, in due time. This transit won’t be the final word on the matter, but I’d bet for many, it will at least start that important first conversation.
These transits, as you suggest, often presage brutal upheavals, and I am absolutely certain that the next one may be the inflection point on how many view their relationship with lust, love, and eros in general. Perhaps another baby boom is in order on the other side of the next few years.
Cheers,
Thank you for that. A baby boom might be the right response to the current nihilism.
By the way, a person close to me has this placement, almost exactly conjunct the Lot of Spirit, in the 5th house. He thinks there is a massive change coming. He also felt this the last time around, and was able to bet on it – to considerable windfall – despite not normally being into games of chance. He thinks the next Pope is going to be considerably more conservative than the current one. In addition, he thinks the guy who comes after Trump will leave many ironically pining for this era’s relative restraint.
There is a big struggle on now within the Church — and the choice will have a momentous effect. The schismatic American and African catholics are highly organised and political (in my understanding).
