Mark Carney: Vision

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has had a hell of a Saturn Return. He became the leader of his country, while standing up to his unruly southern neighbour, pivoted Canada’s alliances, and just last week delivered one of the most important 15-minute speeches of the decade.
Carney is an interesting character, and perhaps his most outstanding feature — to those of us who do not know him personally — is his brain. He is very smart. It’s not obvious, perhaps, at first, why this might be in his astrological chart. However, he has what is called a mutual reception between Mercury, the planet of mind, and Mars, the planet of focus. That means that Mercury is sharp, fiery Aries, ruler by Mars, and Mars is in precise, clever Virgo, ruled by Mercury.
This mutual reception is further enhanced by the very tight stellium supporting that Virgo Mars — Uranus (inspiration), the Moon (memory), and Pluto (obsession and focus).
As Saturn prepares to leave Pisces, bringing to a close Carney’s Saturn Return, he delivered that speech. Mars and Pluto were approaching another conjunction, echoing the one in the sky when he was born. It was both highly focused and precise, words were weapons, some truths were told. Two other features of Carney’s chart stand out. First of all, he was born with Jupiter Rising. He is blessed by the king of the gods, and he has risen far in life. It’s in Taurus, the sign of bankers, and he has been both governor of the Bank of England and of the Bank of Canada.
You’d think that might be enough service for one lifetime, but Carney also has Lilith, the Black Moon, on his MC. This can give a kind of public bravery and unlimited ambition.
You may be wondering how come this Pisces Sun (often visionary in itself) seems to be the one to tell us directly that change is here — this is a “rupture not a transition”. Look at Uranus, the wizard, the planet of change, on his Ascendant by transit, supported by Saturn in Pisces just past his natal Sun, and visionary Neptune has just passed over all of his Pisces planets giving him deep sight into the future.
“It is time to take the signs down.”

Thank you for this. What is equally as interesting is Carney’s synastry with the Astro chart of Canada. His Mercury conjunct the Neptune ASC of Canada in Aries.
His natal Saturn smack dab on the Jupiter of the Canada chart. His triple conjunction in Virgo on Canada’s North Node. The list goes on.

Mark Carney is also a duplicitous,untrustworthy betrayer.He has done nothing to date-since being elected to put”elbows up” to the US.in fact a company he managed has ties to Trump’s son in law Jarred Kushner.
He talks a good “green “agenda-while multinational corporation he was Chairman of -Brookfield-owns shares in coal and 9 international oil fields .His company has off shore accounts -worth 53 billion-that are in unfair tax havens.He wouldn’t disclose his finances as required by those running for office.He just gave billions of our tax dollars-to Ukraine-which he hired a former Trudeau cabinet minister Christina Freeland-a useless minister that did nothing to grow or stimulate the flagging Canadian economy for 10 years-to oversee these funds-which is no less than a transfer of wealth and money laundering scheme -a common practice amongst al lot of Western governments. Carney might have a promising astrological chart-but he is an elite, globalist WEF proponent.He has done nothing for the hard working citizen or our enhanced our country’s infrastructure, failing healthcare ,investment in our economy.
and yet Pierre Pollivere and the conservatives do nothing for anyone either just hurling insults nothing really for people. He lies and has no solutions. He cost the conservatives the election with his hateful rhetoric. Do better
Thanks for this additional info. It also shows in his astrological chart, and I think both things can be true at once: he’s a fully paid up member of the global elite, and he is standing up and telling some cold truths about the current state of the “west”, and possibly pointing a way forward. We do need to be thinking about the future.
On the other hand, when we are in a time of crisis it’s important to have leaders who can speak the truth — at least partially. Churchill had an appalling CV!
