Astrology of Now: The Time of Monsters

Once upon a time, Neptune tore away a gossamer curtain, and revealed a secret world of demons. We saw them sitting around their laden table, gorging themselves, slavering, dribbling, doing things so unspeakable that our hearts stopped for a moment; some of us turned to stone.
None of us will ever be the same again.
And we saw that what they were slurping through their straws was us—our young ones, our life force, our art, our lives. They are feeding off us, we said, looking at each other horror-struck, noticing suddenly the IV lines piercing our skin and running straight from us to them. They have fed off us, for so long, and so hard, that they have grown to enormous size, collapsing under their own weight.
They have raped our children. They have raped our earth. They have stolen our future. They are monsters, lumbering under the weight of their loot.
None of us will ever see the same again.
We say to each other, we will never see a young woman alone and not ask, “where is your mother? who is caring for you?” We say we will never pass a sad child and not say “are you ok?” We will notice when a face in the crowd looks wrong, splinters for a moment and then reassembles itself to look human. We say, now, that we will never defer to a man again simply because he is wearing a suit.
We say we will hold our children close, and teach them to be wary of the signs. We will tell them to be suspicious of ogres offering a ride, trolls proffering a a promotion, goblins doing you a favour.
We say we will cherish the dear earth with our hearts wide open.
We will believe in fairytales again, because monsters are real.
This is the reality check of Saturn in the very last degree of Pisces, the sign of imagination and scandal, and Pisces’s ruler Neptune in the first degree of Aries, the sign of of first fire. These giants are on the threshold from fairyland and illusion to a new beginning this month. Saturn joins Neptune on 20 February — but don’t forget that all the fast-moving planets must follow in their wake, wading through the effluvium to get to the new shore. In particular, Mercury will be swimming around in the muck until April, diving deeper for a while, digging into the scandalous underworld and bringing up even more information. These planets are cleaning up after Saturn’s final unblocking of the sewers.
Monsters have always been among us – Nero, Henry VIII, Marquis de Sade, Gilles de Rais, Klaus Barbie, Idi Amin, Stalin et al. Our grandmothers warned us about them in the stories.
But now, we have been shown that that there is at least one worldwide organised network of super-rich monsters, feeding on women and children, devouring resources, milking the entire system. Without doubt, there are more networks — local and international, small and large.
This time, unlike all the other times in history, we, the people, have a means of communicating with each other around the globe. We may not be getting on planet-polluting planes to meet each other on tropical islands, but we are more connected now than any other time in human history.
The bad people are organised.
The good people need to organise too.

Thank you, the independent Rape Gang Enquiry is brinhing horrifying testimonies about networks closer to home doing similar to the children, seemingly in plain sight for years. Its emergence into the light perhaps coming under the same astrological shifts?
